Cianalas
Cianalas - loosely translated to mean a kind of homesickness in relation to the Outer Hebrides - is a short documentary originally made for the 2018 Edinburgh Napier graduation project and has since been featured in a number of festivals along with academically credited discussions on youth and rural sustainability. The documentary looks at the details of the Lewis landscape as we hear from the young musicians from the Isle of Lewis discuss their culture and identity.
